Clearly Carolina Water & Coffee Company offers two models of table top point-of-use dispensers. Both are high-quality units from Oasis...the industry leader in water dispensing equipment. Point-of-use means that your existing water (municipal or well) is plumbed to the unit where it is filtered for sediment and then through a carbon cartridge for removal of unwanted tastes and odors. The result? Clear, sparkling, great tasting driking water in any quantity you require on-demand.
We offer two filtration options with these units.
- Standard filtration is a three-stage system with a sediment filter and two carbon block filters. This is often sufficient for taste and odor treatment of elements typically in municipal water supplies...especially fluoride and chlorine.
- Reverse osmosis systems also include the three-stage system mentioned above, but in addition, water is processed through a reverse osmosis membrane which removes a wide range of impurities including sodium, metals, bacteria and much more. For ultimate purity, reverse osmosis is your best option especially on well water systems.
See images of both the standard and reverse osmosis filters at the bottom of this screen.
